Yesterday I caught a 7:35 a.m. train at Union Station.

My voyage on the northbound Surfliner was lovely.

I have made it to the little coastal town of Shell Beach where I am communing with the pelicans, seagulls and seals, and being treated like royalty by my friend/host Toni Quinn.

A weekend treat: Flannery O'Connor herself reading her iconic story: "A Good Man is Hard to Find."

  1. I'm so glad I found your blog! My daughter had a similar experience after washing her phone, which is now squeaky clean but non-functioning. The folks at the phone store were unable to transfer her numbers, darn it!

Anyway, I am enjoying your writing! I will be sure to read your book!

Check out my blog if you like!

  2. My copy of Shirt of Flame is on its way -- can't wait to start reading it this weekend!

St. Therese, pray for us, and shower roses down.

  3. Beatufiful photos.

I use a prepaid cell when needed- still have a landline.
    Afraid to give that up.

And Shirt of Flame is on reserve at the library.

I WELCOME your comments!!!
