Exactly how I feel but for very different reasons.
What a great shot of Joe (I think) and Allen (I think).
thinking of you, Heather
Heath: Did some "catch up" reading of your blog today. In the Notre Dame article I can relate, although I learned some of the same stuff in an 8 day silent retreat! I was struck by "God pried my fingers off him"......makes me think that there is a book/article/ blog post in the scene from Easter Morn for you. You know Mary M.....Noile me tangere" .........people still speculate about this and no one really has a definitive about why Jesus acted this way toward Mary who he loved so dearly. Thanks for the "thinking".
What gorgeous landscape!
Wow, Heather. That is a profound and gorgeous collection with which to commemorate your mom. Frost's entire poem plays through my mind as I scroll down this post... Praying for you and for your family at this parting.
Thanks, friends...Yes indeedy, that is Joe of The Queers and young Allen: you can see which of the two is dressed for a funeral....And true, the Frost poem is a classic...I am back in L.A. with a speaking gig in San Diego Tues. and I must say am just a teeny bit wrung out. It's almost like the grieving couldn't start until we got through with the memorial...anyway, I so appreciate your presence and prayers--
Been doing a new thang, dear Heather: staying off line on Sundays (I know, I'm like SO righteous - not) and as it happened Saturday I missed your post. God bless you as you continue to move forward, mindful and grateful for past gifts.Working on another icon today. Will remember your Mom as I do.
A lovely tribute, Heather -- prayers continue....
I WELCOME your comments!!!
